My partner and I worked together to create a video introducing an app that will help a large group of people. We decided to focus on struggling mothers and help them with grocery shopping. I created the characters, scenes, logo and overall visual system, My partner created the app and most of the video production.

Target Segmentation

Women (mothers) and families. Ages 25 to 50 who are married, single, divorced, or widowed. Education ranges from high school graduates to college. Occupations range from nanny to teacher. Blue-collar and low wage white-collar jobs. Income $15,000 - 50,000.

Problem

Expensive cost of healthy foods, lack of access to healthy foods in low income neighborhoods, confusing food labels, easy accessibility to fast food, predominance of convenient stores in low income neighborhoods

Goals and Wishes

Spend less money, eat healthier, be provided with lower priced organic food, eat out less, have access to full service grocery stores and markets, make healthy meals with lack of resources and lack of time, break the stigma that healthy meals aren’t good, provide for their families in the best way possible.
